Overview:
We are looking for 2 highly skilled IT Business Analysts. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing and defining IT requirements for various projects and initiatives.
Roles, Responsibilities, & Authorities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements, and translate them into clear and concise IT requirements.
- Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative technology solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories, ensuring they are comprehensive, consistent, and aligned with business goals.
- Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate the technical viability of proposed IT solutions.
- Work closely with development teams, acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams, to ensure accurate and timely implementation of IT solutions.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to elicit requirements, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements traceability matrix, process flows, and test plans, to support the development and testing phases.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute test scenarios and ensure the delivered IT solutions meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Support end-users during user acceptance testing (UAT), providing guidance and resolving any issues or discrepancies identified during the testing phase.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis and IT solutions to provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.
Competence Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a startup or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) for effective project delivery.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data modeling, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Experience with translating business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating with development teams for successful solution implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with technology trends, such as cloud computing, data analytics, and mobile applications, and their impact on business operations.
- Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Proficient verbal and written communication in English
